"After experiencing his first encounter with heartbreak, Damien dives into the chaotic world of college life," according to the film's press notes. H.I.M., set to be released digitally on August 8 from Breaking Glass Pictures, is the story of Damien (Brandon Karson) and his cousin Kendall (Rahim Brazil) as they navigate love and learning. While one of the few shows set amidst higher education - The Sex Lives of College Girls - is losing one of its great queer characters, an upcoming series centers a group starving for representation: Black queer college students. For such a formative time in people's lives, the college experience is rarely depicted in film and television.
